Web Chat Specialist - Remote Work

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Web Chat Specialist to join our team at Laboratory Corp. of America. As a remote work position based in San Antonio, Texas, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through web chat communication. This part-time role at the Associate Level requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities:- Respond to customer inquiries and issues through web chat in a timely and professional manner- Provide accurate information and assistance to customers regarding products, services, and company policies- Use persuasion skills to guide customers towards resolution and make recommendations for additional products or services- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and follow up as needed to ensure customer satisfaction- Collaborate with other team members and departments to address complex customer issues and escalate as necessary- Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to provide the best possible support to customers- Manage multiple chat sessions simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively- Assist with special projects or initiatives as assigned by leadership

Requirements:- Reliable and motivated individual with strong communication skills- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment- Experience in project management and handling multiple tasks simultaneously- Proficiency in typing and navigating web chat software- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred- Equal opportunity employer
