Water Resources, Drainage Group Manager

Consor is currently seeking a motivated Senior Engineer to act as Group Manager to our growing our water resource infrastructure practice in Dallas. You will engage in the growth of our North Texas practice, and advance your career as a business leader in the region. You will lead the design of H&H projects, manage and mentor design staff, and coordinate with multiple disciplinary teams on a variety of projects. Mentor and guide staff with technical development. Lead multi-disciplinary teams in planning, design, and construction phase for all sizes of drainage projects with various municipalities and agencies.  Develop new relationships to expand our client base and strengthen relationships through a commitment to quality and service Participate in the development of identifying and winning opportunities by working directly with clients, marketers, business developers, and delivery teams Gather information, develop and evaluate alternatives, and prepare engineering reports  10 - 20 years relevant civil engineering experience Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas  Demonstrated Project Management experience on multi-disciplinary including management of subconsultants Experience managing municipal and public sector projects (state, county, city and federal) Ability to lead, train, motivate, and work within a team Ability to develop productive, long-term relationships and communicate with clients, peers, multi-discipline teams, and management A reputation of integrity, intelligence, and the ability to exercise good judgment  Outstanding written and verbal communication skills - you clearly convey subtleties in complex designs to your team, client, and stakeholders Demonstrated success working on multi-disciplinary engineering projects Motivation and the ability to work independently with multiple priorities
