Water Maintenance l Grade 9: $19.39 DOE - Must be a high school graduate. Must be Grade 1 Water Distribution Certified within One year and CDL class A w/Tanker within 6 months of hire.
Water Maintenance ll Grade 11: $21.33 DOE - Must be a high school graduate. Must have Three years Water Maintenance equivalent experience. Must obtain Utah Grade ll Certified Water Distribution Operation within Six months of hire. Must have a Class A CDL w/ Tanker endorsement within three months of hire. Certified Cross Connection within Six months. ATSSA Traffic Control Certificate within twelve months of Hire.
Under the direction of the Water Field Supervisor and Water Lead Worker, employee will assist in the maintenance and repair of the Water, Flood and Pressure Irrigation systems for the city.
· Assists in the maintenance and repair of the water distribution mains and service lines and valves.
· Assists in repairing and maintenance of wells and pressure-reducing valves.
· Assists in the maintenance of well houses and piping.
· Assisting in carrying out a valve exercising program for the city.
· Assists in the maintenance, repair, and testing of fire hydrants.
· Operates maintains and repairs the pressurized and flood irrigation systems.
· Operates heavy equipment as needed.
· Stands available for on-call status and emergency on-call status, as needed.

· All other duties as assigned.
High school graduate or equivalent. Must possess a valid Utah Driver's License.
Certification Requirements: · Grade I Certified Water Distribution Operator within one (1) year of hire date.
· Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement within six (6) months of hire date.
Knowledge. Skill. And Abilities: · Must be tactful in dealing with the public.
· Must have the ability to maintain accurate records and ability to perform standard mathematical computations quickly and accurately.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and be able to climb on ladders and into meter holes and boxes. Must have enough physical strength and agility to perform required work. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather. Must be able to lift heavy loads, bend, stoop, climb, sit, stand, grab, etc. Must be able to work in and around heavy traffic.
