In the Warehouse Operations Unit, and under supervision of a Warehouse Manager I (WMI), the Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing a variety of warehousing functions including the receiving, storing, inventorying, and shipping of warehouse items and equipment. Working Conditions DMV Pull Program
Participation in the DMV Pull Program is required. The position(s) require(s) a valid Driver's License (DL). You must answer the questions addressing your DL on your application. Ensure you provide your DL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.

Special Requirements The position(s) require(s) Medical Clearance prior to being hired. THIS POSITION IS SUBJECT TO THE POST & BID PROCESS: Priority will be given to Cal OES Post & Bid applicants (if any).  Post & Bid applications must be received or post marked no later than INSERT DATE, to be considered. Post & Bid applications will be accepted from individuals currently employed by the Cal OES, with permanent status in the classification.

Demonstrate a strong knowledge of warehouse principles and procedures Possess exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service At least one year of experience assisting in the receipt, storage or issue of materials from a centralized stockroom or warehouse. Knowledge of and ability to follow safety protocols on lifting and caring weigh upward of 50 lbs. Ability to work in an environment that requires the incumbent be free from sensitivity to normal warehouse conditions including heat, cold, dust and/or other debris. Knowledge of methods of taking inventories and maintaining inventory records.
