Our team is growing and we are hiring immediately for Warehouse Utility Associates to our operations team. This person will communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates). They will maintain housekeeping and safety of the facility by monitoring levels of trash in compactors, open-top containers, and trash line, removing and baling cardboard from trash line and reporting trash levels. The ideal candidate will process merchandise and pallets by moving pallets to staging areas and put-away locations using power equipment. Ensure sufficient quantities of boxes are available for order fillers by monitoring levels and replenishing as needed. Warehouse Utility Associate Details and Benefits: *Pay is $18.70/hour. Warehouse Utility Associate Primary Responsibilities: Receive inbound trucks and prepare trucks for shipping by loading and unloading Operate power equipment including but not limited to Forklift, Pallet Rider, Bander, Compactor, Baler, & Reach Truck Prepare and condense pallets as well as perform audits Process Company fixtures and determine the correct disposition based on established Company procedures Warehouse Utility Associate Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years of age Desire to work in environment that can be fast paced Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week Attention to detail and accuracy is key Must be able to pass a drug and background check Must be able to consistently lift up to 60 About Walmart
