Laurel Ag & Water is looking for a self-motivated, exceptional Warehouse Retail Clerk. As a key member of the Warehouse team, the Warehouse Retail Clerk will be responsible for picking and packing of all projects and jobs and assisting with shipping/receiving duties. This role will report to the Branch Operations Manager.
This person will be passionate about understanding our customer's needs and creating solutions that maximize their performance at Laurel. The Warehouse Clerk is expected to be a team player that lives Laurel's cultural values and sets an example for others to constantly enhance the culture.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Provide excellent customer service for irrigation and ag related product sale Process material quotes, returns, refunds, and exchange Maintain customer database Customer Service Increase counter sales by contacting customers offering goods and services. Communicate with customers for on time delivery Inventory Maintenance
Review stock levels and create purchase orders for stock outs Communicate with purchasing for stock and project PO's. Preform cycle counts per cycle count calendar Internal Customer Contact
Process Transfer Orders (Branch and Service) Process Additional Material Requests from Construction POC for Service Inbound material handling
Verify all stock, special orders, and non-stock material inbounds Communicate receipts and discrepancies to Purchasing Put away inbound materials to proper locations Communicate material location updates Check in all finished fabrication items per detail Outbound material handling
Process job returns Coordinate vendor returns Upload paperwork to Box as needed WHAT YOU WILL NEED Proven ability to work in team environment inside and outside of department Proven ability to communicate both verbally and written Warehouse and/or irrigation experience Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Excel High energy, hungry to win, patient Proven ability to solve problems as needed to accomplish tasks Strong sense of time organization and urgency Able to work independently and within a team Must be teachable Basic math and money handling skills Bilingual (English and Spanish speaking) Perks – Bells & Whistles We offer rich health insurance options and cover employee only health insurance premiums at 100%.
