How You'll Make an Impact As a Packer, you will replenish, pick and pack air filters, oil filters, wiper blades and other small automotive parts in fulfillment of customer orders shipping throughout North America. Orders are fulfilled using RF scanners and completed orders ship small parcel (UPS). In the role, you would be responsible for:
Replenishing air filters, oil filters, wiper blades and other small automotive parts Pack and prepare order items for shipment Replenish inventory (filters, wiper blades, bulbs, belts) Manually constructing shipping cartons Housekeeping- removing plastic, cardboard (bailing), emptying trash and sweeping floors Participate in cycle counts, indirect inventory counts, and safety related inspections Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion What You'll Need High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of two years warehousing experience Pick / pack experience in a line environment RF scanner experience Experience opening cartons, replenishing and picking product Must be quality minded and have a strong attention to detail Must have a strong sense of teamwork, a quick work pace and a friendly, outgoing demeanor capable of getting along well with co-workers and managers Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. infrequently Ability to stand, squat, reach and walk between 8 - 12 hours per shift Must be authorized to work in the U.S. What Will Set You Apart Prior computer skills are preferred. Examples include; SAP, MS Office, Outlook, proprietary shipping software programs.
