KWS is looking for a new addition to the team by bringing on a Warehouse Operator in Tangent !
Essential Job Functions: Support receiving harvest, staging for various processing operations, and picking and shipping of product.
Perform inventory counts ensuring inventory accuracy.
Support receiving and distribution of goods to all departments.
Accurately follow the processes including required maintaining proper documentation.
Ensure package quality standards are met or exceeded.
Cross-train in other positions to meet business demands.
Operate various inventory, warehousing, and shipping system programs.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts as needed.
Wear Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
Ensure Company handbook, Rules, Guidelines and Procedures and safety policies are followed and personal protective equipment is used correctly.
Regularly operate a forklift.
Occasionally travel and/or drive on behalf of the business.
Meet attendance requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: Valid driver's license.
Able to become forklift certified.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer and math skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to use multiple inventory/warehousing/shipping system programs
General working and mechanical knowledge

Working Environment: Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as needed. Work in high and precarious places and able to cover multiple areas including staircases safely and quickly. Able to work in varied environmental conditions (loud, hot, cold, dusty, damp, etc). Flexibility to work rotating shifts as needed (including weekend, night shift, and holidays). Ability to work individually and within a team setting.
