Job Location: This position is located at the Scruggs Station Complex, 4720 Scruggs Station Road, Jefferson City, MO 65109.

The Office of Administration Division of Facilities Management, Design and Construction (OA-FMDC) has a job opportunity for a Warehouse Manager at our Scruggs Station Complex. This position will maintain inventory control records (electronically and physically) for the bulk warehouse, determine optimum inventory level, and receive shipments while checking for quantity and compliance to specifications and accuracy for documentation. Also, this position will utilize MissouriBuys to enter purchase requests and receive items.
What you'll do: Managing the organization of the State Consolidated Warehouse facility of approx. 350,000 sf currently, with plans to expand by another 200,000 sf Supervising the daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, shipping, and customer service Overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products utilized by several state agencies in a safety-controlled environment Implementing and maintaining efficient and standardized processes to maximize productivity Understanding and operating the Salamander software system to optimize the efficiency of the warehouse Enforcing OA-FMDC safety protocols to create a secure work environment for all warehouse staff Other duties as assigned by the OA-FMDC Director or Deputy Director of Operations All you need for success: Minimum Qualifications 5+ years' experience in a pivotal role within a company's operations and responsible for arranging the efficient and effective management of inventory, logistics, and overall warehouse operations Embody the qualities of a coach and mentor, guiding your team towards excellence while fostering individual growth and skill development Adapt and implement process improvements and constantly seeking innovative ways to streamline operations, optimize workflows, and enhance productivity Comprehensive knowledge of inventory methods, accountability, and records maintenance Ability to multi-task and work with multiple agencies daily on warehouse needs Comprehensive knowledge of the "Salamander software" system and the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency's (SEMA) requirements Ability to operate a forklift and other motorized equipment as needed OSHA 30 certification (can be provided after hire) This position is physically demanding. Examples of job duties may include prolonged periods of walking/standing/sitting/bending, climbing ladders, ability to lift up to 50 lbs., working in inclement weather and working on uneven surfaces.
