The 3rd Shift Warehouse Manager will be responsible for supervising personnel within the warehouse to ensure that all functions are performed efficiently within company, and distribution center standards. The schedule for this position is Sunday through Thursday. Plans, manages and coordinates the daily activities for the warehouse within shipping operations Effective planning to forecast volume, staffing, and supply needs in order to meet projected productivity and expense budgets Manages warehouse activities using proper training, accuracy systems and programs Controls production standards as well as meet projections for labor expenses Walk all areas of the warehouse to ensure building conditions are maintained and comply with Company standards, associates are working safely, potential safety hazards are identified and addressed, and potential damage is identified and corrected Plans and assigns work for most efficient use of personnel and equipment Develops and maintains good working relationships with all warehouse personnel Maintains daily production and accuracy records Maintains company policies and contractual agreements Develops productive associates through training, and coaching, in order to achieve company goals and objectives Develops and maintain good working relationship with all departments within supply chain Performs other duties as assigned, to include special projects Ensure productivity and accuracy targets are achieved and dispatch times are met Produce reports and statistics regularly Qualifications of the 3rd Shift Warehouse Manager:
Minimum 3 years of proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives Solid knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases Strong leadership skills and ability manage staff. Must be able to motivate and work with and through others to achieve desires results Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills Safety Management, surveillance and inventory control skills Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
