Under the direction of the Production Planning and Logistics Sr. Manager, manage daily activities for the receiving, storage, inventory management of raw materials, supplies and equipment, and shipping of finished good products .
You will: Overall oversight of the Cycle Count activities. Manage relationship and activities with Cesar Castillo. Manage Manati extension warehouse logistics. Manage relationship with Transportation / Deliver for priorities and to improve the execution of the shipping of inventory. Recommends operating procedure changes and or improvement, and equipment or facility alterations to Raw Material Management. Responsible for storage of raw materials and other supplies and accordance to FDA or ISO Regulations. Responsible to meet JnJ standards for Warehousing and/or Kitting activities. Identify and lead activities in the area to develop and implement programs of continuous improvement, cost reduction, among others. Lead and assure optimal space allocation based on inventory requirements. Responsible to complete and implement corrective and preventive resulted from quality and/or safety investigations. Operate within approved financial spending. Coordinates the maintenance of Training Records on team members as required by policy. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level Performs other duties assigned as needed. • A minimum of Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of related work experience is required.
• Experience in medical device industry preferred.
• At least one (1) year of experience in inventory management, logistics and/or warehouse management highly preferred.
• Advance computer skills and use of software application(s) including MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) are required.
• Experience in using ERP system, SAP preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish & English) is required.
• 10% Travel requirement between Ethicon Locations, Domestic and/or international travel.
• Availability to work various work schedules, which may include 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and/or 12-hour daily shifts, including weekends and holidays is required.
