The Warehouse Associate will assist the manager in all warehouse management responsibilities. Duties include purchases, inventory management, personnel and equipment maintenance, shipping and receiving, cycle counts, Physical Inventory counts, and special orders, with special attention to Inventory, and administrative duties. The Warehouse Associate ensures daily operations, special projects, and inventory management are completed and managed with a high degree of accuracy. Responsibilities extend to supporting the warehouse team to ensure technicians operate daily without unnecessary delays or inefficiencies. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and partners with the appropriate key stakeholders (technicians, team leads, Fleet Manager, and Service Managers). Below are the other essential duties of this role:
Oversee the Fulfillment process for daily requisition orders accurately and timely Maximize Warehouse efficiency by designing processes and procedures as necessary Maintain all Consignment Inventory records and report changes as required Perform accurate cycle counts, physical inventories, and spot checks on warehouse inventory Work with Technicians to ensure parts and equipment are ordered proactively and with maximum efficiency Partner with the warehouse personnel to manage and minimize backorders Manage and oversee inventory min/max amounts / on-hand quantities Maintain all tool room inventory and procedures including the check-in/out process Assume the Role of acting manager, in the Manager's absence Assist the Manager in driving continuous improvement and Special Projects Collaborate on and help design new warehouse procedures Partner with the Warehouse Manager to plan and execute special projects Acting Back up to all functions within the Warehouse Inventory Team Develop relationships with Vendors and outside personnel Clean background check and drug test Provide work references from past supervisors, managers, and co-workers Maintain a clean driving record, with no more than 1 moving violation in the past 3 years (no reckless driving or DUI) Pass a clean background check and provide acceptable work and character references Willingness to undergo pre-employment and random drug testing Must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
