Warehouse Assistant

Summary of Duties: This position will support both the Warehouse with both administrative responsibilities as well as with the physical management and movement of materials on the floor.
Job Duties Include (but are not limited to): Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Assist with raw material inventory and cycle counts. Perform all department procedures for proper accuracy and quality. Assist in completing the monthly safety inspection. Miscellaneous duties as directed by department management. Responsible for unloading trucks of raw materials. Place raw material (cooper or aluminum) into its designated location the racks. Pull raw materials from their designated locations to be used in accordance to plating and Fabrication production schedules. Transport materials as needed from warehouse to the plating or fabrication area and to and from other locations. Perform all department procedures for proper accuracy and quality. Assist in completing the monthly safety inspection. Miscellaneous duties as directed by department management. Operation of a forklift. Minimum Job Requirements (but not limited to): Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with all levels of management and employees to ensure internal customer satisfaction. Ability to work alone or with limited supervision while ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner. Ability to function as a team player and demonstrate a positive work behavior with employees and management. Attention to detail required, to ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time. Working knowledge of inventory and production standards. Legible handwriting and ability to follow written instructions accurately. Working understanding of standard product flow.
