We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales for the Federal Sector, who will play a crucial role in steering our sales initiatives across products, services, and renewals. This role is pivotal in building our sales strategy, managing sales forecasts, and leading our sales team towards achieving exceptional results. Reporting directly to the President, the successful candidate will embody leadership, vision, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision: Lead and manage our sales teams, ensuring efficient sales operations and fostering a culture of achievement and growth.
Strategic Sales Planning: Collaborate with the marketing team to organize impactful marketing events, both in-person and virtual, to drive sales and brand visibility.
Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new markets/territories to bolster company profits and expand our footprint.
Team Development: Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of sales personnel, including Outside Sales Representatives, Sales Engineers, and Inside Sales Representatives.
Budget Management: Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
Sales Goals: Set and monitor quarterly and annual sales targets, inspiring the sales teams to meet and exceed these goals.
Market Analysis: Keep a pulse on market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for growth, contributing to informed sales forecasting.
Partnership Development: Cultivate new OEM partnerships and strategize on go-to-market plans with partners alongside the Services Leader.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure the highest levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction, including overseeing service completion and feedback collection.
Reporting and Relationships: Generate comprehensive sales reports, provide insightful feedback to leadership, and maintain key customer relationships, leveraging macro market trends to position the company for success.

Security clearance is preferred.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree or MBA is preferred, but not mandatory.
A minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience, with at least three years in a senior management role.
