Salary Grade: E3 Salary Pay Range for This Position: $175,449.00 - $263,283.00 POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President of Partner Development is responsible for setting the direction of the Credit Union's strategic partnerships, community engagement and strategic philantropy. The Vice President will implement initiatives that promote objectives of the strategic relationships including but not limited to new member growth and brand awareness.This leadership position will oversee the development and implementation of all products and services necessary to support the strategic partnerships,events, and programs associated with each partnership including but not limited to programs outlined in the partnership contracts. This position will oversee the development and implementation of the Credit Union's community engagement strategy along with associated community outreach programming and activation. The position will also oversee the Credit Union's Foundation and strategic philanthropic initiatives. The Vice President will support the growth of the Foundation's strategic contributions, grant making, programming and volunteerism based on the Foundation strategic focus areas. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: Responsible to build and maintain all aspects of the organization's strategic partnerships and ensure that partnership initiatives and communications support the Wescom brand, philosophy and organizational strategic initiatives. Work with the Vice President Marketing, to optimize the associated marketing plan for each partnership based on partnership performance and data. Develop and maintain relationships with all strategic partnership property decision makers to ensure business value is met by each partnership. Responsible for reviewing and evaluating strategic partnership proposal and making partnership recommendations to senior leadership. Identify further growth opportunities with existing strategic partnerships to optimize partnership results. Oversees the development of products and services to support the strategic partnerships with key internal stakeholder such as Marketing, Consumer Lending, Deposit Operations, Card Services and Digital Channels. Colloborate with the Vice President Marketing to prepare communications, including advertising, promotions, and public relations, that promote the partnerships. Provides oversight and coordination of events and initiatives delivered through multiple channels at each property. Translates business objectives and strategies into related functional and operational projects and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure successful implementation. Defines short and long term goals and objectives for each strategic partnership that support the success of the Credit Union and partnership initiatives. Responsible for initiatives that support membership growth based on the target segments associated with each partnership. Develop and maintain reporting of strategic partnerships, community outreach and philanthropy key performance indictators and distribute to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Leads and directs the professional and personal development of department employees to ensure a high level of performance and availability of talent to support strategic partnership and Wescom Foundation initiatives. Update and ensure all department standard operational procedures are adhered to Drives innovation and change in the partnerships, community engagement and philanthropy. Demonstrates enthusiastic commitment and leadership. Develop and oversee financial literacy efforts on behalf of the organization Responsible for ensuring the Wescom Foundation's strategic philanthropy aligns with the organizational community strategic initiative and Wescom Foundation's mission and vision. Support and encourage the expansion of the Wescom Foundation community impact and non-profit organization network Responsible for supporting the development of team member and member engagement, programming and volunteerism with the Wescom Foundation Develop and oversee the community outreach strategy to ensure the plan drives new membership and grows Wescom's brand awareness. Grow the scope of Wescom's on-site activation capabilities to support existing initiatives (such as strategic partnerships, community events and Foundation events) and additional initiatives in order to bring greater awareness to the Credit Union. Responsible for developing and maintaining an administrative budget to support the various functions of the department to ensure financial success. COMMITTEE PARTICIPATION: Member of Executive Team: joins with all management members to review and address member service delivery and related functions, operational policies, employee issues, quality control problems, planning items and other Wescom activities. The position is eligible for the Credit Union's Management Team Incentive Program and Team Award. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Five to seven years of leadership experience in brand marketing, strategic marketing partnerships, sports marketing or higher education industry. Demonstrated expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. College degree required and MBA preferred. Highly effective interpersonal, communications, presentation and facilitation skills Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected with flexibility to respond to different challenges and perform a variety of tasks. Ability to think strategically; strong analytical skills, good judgment and decision making Has high ethical standards and presents professional image. Ability to understand and utilize self-serve business analytics tools, CRMs and marketing communications platforms. Ability to make data drive decisions that will bring business value. Candidates with equivalent experience will be considered. COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to use digital programs, Mircosoft suite applications, CRMs, data analytics tools and other applications common to marketing including but not limited to Social Media, Email Marketing, website, and SMS Marketing. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position may qualify as Remote or Hybrid with a home base at one of Wescom's offices. The Remote or Hybrid status may be discontinued by Wescom in its sole discretion at any time and for any reason or no reason, with or without notice by Wescom or Employee. The position is expected to be in-person at flagship events tied to the strategic partnerships, community engagement events and Wescom Foundation events. Ability to work non-traditional working hours and travel to flagship events.
