Marvin is a company on a mission to end healthcare worker burnout. Marvin partners with 17 top hospitals, including Cedars-Sinai and UCLA in Los Angeles, Jefferson Health in Philadelphia, and the Harvard Department of Psychiatry, to provide a proprietary mental health care platform for their physicians, nurses, and staff.
We are seeking a dynamic and driven VP of Operations to join our team and drive operational excellence within our organization. The VP of Operations will collaborate closely with the CEO to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, ensuring the achievement of organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking abilities, attention to detail, and a proven track record of operational success.
This position is remote. However, the ideal candidate would be located in, or be willing to spend 1-2 days per week in, Marina del Rey, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
VP of Operations Responsibilities:
Collaborate with CEO and executive team to develop and execute organization's strategic vision and operational strategy. Manage integration with key health system partners, ensuring customer success through execution of Marvin's operations. Provide strategic guidance and leadership to department heads to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Oversee day-to-day operations across the User Success/ support, Engineering, Growth, Clinical, G&A teams, driving timely execution of projects and initiatives. Translate strategic initiatives into operational plans, defining clear objectives and key results for each department. Implement effective processes and systems to optimize operational efficiency and streamline workflows across the organization. Establish performance management systems and processes to monitor employee productivity and drive continuous improvement. Work closely with the CFO to develop and manage the organization's budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic priorities. QUALIFICATIONS Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in a senior leadership role, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management. Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to drive organizational change and achieve measurable results. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization. Solid understanding of business operations, finance, and regulatory compliance in relevant industries. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams to deliver exceptional results. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex issues, make data-driven decisions, and solve problems creatively. Strong ethical and professional integrity, with a commitment to upholding the organization's values and standards.
