The Vice President of Human Resources (VP HR) at EDP will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's people strategy and fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and growth. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with EDP's business goals and objectives.
Partner with executive leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives.
Lead the HR function in creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Oversee the recruitment and selection process for all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment with workforce planning and talent needs.
Develop innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the dental industry.
Implement effective onboarding and orientation programs to integrate new hires into the organization.
Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations issues.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure the competitiveness and fairness of compensation practices.
Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to manage the HR budget effectively.
Develop and implement learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills, capabilities, and career development opportunities.
Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to address organizational and individual development needs.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organization.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in the healthcare or dental industry.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including ADA, FMLA, and EEOC guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strategic thinker with demonstrated experience in developing and executing HR strategies that drive business results.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technology platforms.

Entering text by typing on keyboard for lengthy periods
Ability to communicate, understand and distinguish speech
Ability to use computer to read and enter text
