This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA – onsite.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: You will work on the ATOM (Accounting Transaction Optimization Manager). Our application deals with the automation of trade processing for Global Fund Accounting business which manages 100K transactions per days, by addressing the touch points within the Trade Capture and Derivative support teams operating model, reducing manual overrides and file manipulations, and thus increase STP and reduce risks of manual errors.Accounting Systems in focus are both the Eagle & InvestOne platformsBe part of the global team which builds cutting edge systems for banking and finance with microservices based architectureWork to enhance the validation controls within the teams by removing unnecessary checks.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Java Spring, SpringBoot – core development experience in Java technologies (e.g. Java 11+, Spring, SpringBoot)Reactive programming paradigms including Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, Project ReactorsExposure to front end web technology (e.g. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks -Angular, Bootstrap, Spring etc.)Service orientated multi-tiered application architecture utilizing web service standards and protocols (REST, JSON, OpenAPI)Microservices architecture using industry standard technologies including Apache ZUUL Gatekeeper, Apache Netflix Eureka, Implementing cloud-based solution for highly scalable and high performant services using Docker and container technologies. Relational database experience (e.g. Oracle) and industry standard ORM including Hibernate. Advocate of Agile engineering principles and comfortable working with geographically dispersed teams.Strong inclination to building resilient and secure platforms following OWSAP secure coding practices. Release management and version control inc.
