SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE Attracts, develops & maintains CRE & C&I business relationships within the Bank's lending radius. Expands commercial lending and commercial deposit relationships by actively cross-selling other bank products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Generates new business opportunities within the bank's defined lending area to attract and retain quality clients.
Effectively screens new loan applicants; collects and analyzes financial and related data to establish creditworthiness; ensures the timely submission of a complete application with supporting documentation to create a smooth process from application to loan closing.
Able to negotiate credit terms & conditions and structure loans in compliance with bank policies.
Provides timely completion of file comments upon receipt & review of annual financial information
Promotes and sells related bank financial products and services as appropriate
Develops and maintains a network of professional relationships for referrals
Participates in community activities to promote and strengthen the image of the bank.
COMPETENCIES
Experienced in negotiating and structuring a range of CRE & C&I deals from simple to complex;
Solid financial analysis skills
Understands loan documentation
Strong organizational, reasoning & communication skills;
Works well in a team environment;
Self-motivated and independent with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Proficient PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
3 years of Commercial Credit experience and/or Lending Officer Training Program; or 3 years of commercial lending experience;
BS or BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
