The Department of Psychology and Counseling, in the College of Education and Behavioral Science, seeks a highly qualified Visiting Professor of Psychology for the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Accredited School Psychology Track of the Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) Degree Program in Psychology and Counseling Duties & Responsibilities: Teaching may include but not be limited to the following school psychology graduate courses: Psychological and educational assessment and interventions Professional school psychology Crisis intervention and prevention in school and community Developmental and differential psychology Theories of learning Student advisement and mentoring Maintaining an active research program Provide service to the program, department, college, and university Other duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to provide student advisement and mentoring General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed

Preferred Qualifications:
Eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Psychologist in Arkansas Minimum Qualifications:
A doctoral degree from a recognized school psychology program accredited/approved by the NASP or the American Psychological Association (APA). Applicant must be eligible for licensure as a School Psychology Specialist in Arkansas with the Arkansas Department of Education and certification as a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP)
