Position Summary: The Visual Inspector Co-Op is a temporary position to develop the skills of a student enrolled in a high school technical trade program and to evaluate their potential for future opportunities at Straumann. The Co-op will be trained to inspect and deburr dental implants using a microscope and deburring tools.
Major Responsibilities of the Position (with help and training as needed): Inspect implants under a microscope at 20X.Make sure part finish quality meets visual requirements.Deburr parts as they come off machines.Work with the Machinist to adjust the machine as needed.Follow procedures and complete documentation as needed.Other duties as assigned by the manager Physical Attributes:
General manufacturing environment. May be exposed to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools. Utilize manual dexterity and manipulate small objects. Minimum Qualifications:
Enrolled in a High School Technical / Vocational Advanced Manufacturing programPreferred Qualifications: A willingness to learn.A commitment to doing a job right and caring about quality.Excellent eyesight and visual acuity. For Roles outside of CO, CA, NY, IL and WA:
