The Role:
As Vice President of Strategy, Store Operations, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our retail operations across the U.S. and Canada. This position offers the chance to enhance customer experiences and drive operational excellence within our stores. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Store Operations, this role is based at our corporate office in Atlanta.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership (40%):
Develop and implement retail strategic plans in collaboration with finance and other key departments to drive significant decisions and investments.
Mentor and lead a high-performing team to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
Utilize performance metrics to identify enhancements and risks, optimizing operations across all locations.
Spearhead strategic initiatives involving cross-functional teams, ensuring cohesive execution of operational strategies.
Effective Communication and Process Optimization (20%):
Manage communication strategies between retail locations and corporate to facilitate continuous improvement.
Drive partnerships across various departments to align on initiatives, enhance store processes, and maximize customer satisfaction.
Innovation and Customer Experience (20%):
Champion innovative solutions that enhance the shopping experience and meet evolving consumer needs through advanced technology and creative problem-solving.
Lead the strategy for omni-channel enhancements to ensure an integrated customer experience across all platforms.
Facilities Management and Safety (20%):
Provide strategic oversight to the Facilities team to maintain safety standards and enhance the customer and employee experience.
Develop and implement safety and security programs, optimizing store layouts and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Who We Are Looking For:
You have at least 10 years of experience in retail operations, strategy, or a related field, preferably within a dynamic retail environment.
You hold a BA/BS degree and possess a robust understanding of retail systems and technology, including omni-channel models.
You are an experienced leader capable of mentoring teams and driving successful business outcomes.
Your strong critical thinking and business acumen allow you to thrive in a complex, cross-functional environment.
You are willing and able to travel as needed, primarily domestically, with potential for international travel based on business needs.
