Job Description AECOM is seeking a Vice President, Regional Municipal Market Sector Leader in our East Region Water Business Line. This senior level position will ideally be based in one of Southern Virgina or North Carolina offices. The area of focus will be in the southern Virgina and North and South Carolina markets and be part of our larger Southeast Region. AECOM is one of the nation's leading engineering firms with opportunities to work with a wide variety of clients on planning, engineering, and design projects.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Serve as part of a senior core team for AECOM's business development and technical support activities in the defined geographic area and beyond, in coordination with the East Region Business Line Leader, sub-region Region Business Line Leaders and area market sector leads. Leverage extensive knowledge of the business and product offerings to support cross-discipline/business line/region collaboration. Anticipate opportunities and trends in the business line, market sector and in adjacent market sectors. Serve as mentor to staff in the local AECOM offices. Provide technical support to projects in the Water Business unit. Build strong relationships and interact regularly with clients, teaming partners, industry groups and stakeholders linked to the market sector Development of major pursuits and provides oversight of capture plans that conform to the business development strategy and technical capabilities. Draw in technical expertise from across the organization to support pursuits Continuously interact with clients assuring satisfaction with AECOM services and interacting with project delivery personnel to ensure any service issues are identified and addressed in a proactive manner. Manage and develop employees in accordance with AECOM core values and performance management competencies, including managing talent and proactively supporting the performance management process. Reinforce collaboration and team building, ensures client focus, demonstrates commitment to excellence and innovation, and motivates others to ensure positive morale and engagement. Ensure that AECOM programs such as Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Ethics & Compliance are an overriding part of the organizational culture. Provide input on BD expenditures and priorities based on market trends Coordinate with Technical Practice to align skills with market trends and to drive strategic technical leadership hires Continuously build a strong professional network through personal contacts, conference planning and strategy development. Qualifications Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or related degree + 15 years experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership Valid U.S. Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review.
Preferred Qualifications : Master's (MS) Engineering. Civil or Chemical preferred Professional Engineering License 20+ years Water/Wastewater industry experience Extensive knowledge of municipal water/wastewater market Well-known in the industry through AWWA, WEFTEC and other professional organizations Ability to identify other water related end markets and to assist in strategy development Agile response to fast paced, complex work environment and organizational change Additional Information All of your information will be kept strictly confidential in accordance with EEO guidelines.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications , experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $230,000 - $270,000.
