About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Portfolio and Program Management to play a key role in integrating and supporting portfolio and program management activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic company-wide portfolio leadership, driving the accelerated development of pathways from early stages through registration, and managing the governance process. This includes leading cross-functional evaluations, preparing clear and succinct presentations, and ensuring alignment with senior leadership on strategies and budgets. The role also involves supporting alliance management of joint development programs, fostering a strong collaboration, and developing the project management discipline within the organization.Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree with an advanced degree or PMP certificate preferred, and a background in portfolio management and program management within the biotech or pharma industry. Experience in overseeing a team of program/project managers with expertise in various areas related to drug development is essential. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate effectively with multiple departments, have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and prioritization skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, are also crucial in this dynamic and collaborative environment.
