This is what#LifeAtBNYMellonis all about. We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, People Process Advisor to support our People Team function.This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA and is HYBRID. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Support end-to-end project management, design, and execution of activities for People Team projects as assigned.Conducts process improvement reviews for People Team processes, including process mapping, collecting requirements and designing recommended solutions.Partner with cross-functional workstreams touching various HR products (e.g., Talent Management, Organizational Design, Change Management, Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards Planning).Acts as an escalation point on more highly complex or sensitive matters and liaises with HRBPs, LOB and COEs.Serves as a seasoned individual contributor in guiding less experienced staff.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced degree or certification preferred.7-10 years of progressive related experience with at least 3 years directly driving projects or process improvements.Demonstrated knowledge of technical and legal aspects of HR strongly preferred (e.g. Employee Relations, M&A, or managing performance at scale).Must be proficient with Microsoft O365 Suite (including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint).Experience with agile project management preferred, including with tools like JIRA. Execution and Influencing Skills: Asks powerful questions to diagnose root issues; leverages a variety of techniques to align stakeholders towards common goals and courses of action.
