Please note, this is a sales role, not marketing. You must have carried a quota to be considered.
About You:
You are an experienced Sales Generator in the Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences space who understands how to develop new revenue opportunities with Pharmaceutical and Life Science companies; developing and executing an annual strategic business plan to drive new revenue and sales growth of commercialization services as measured by sales bookings. You are directly accountable for a select group of small and mid-sized life sciences targets
You have a track record of building relationships with targets (especially at the senior executive and procurement levels) and leveraging these relationships to generate new business opportunities. You enjoy prospecting, solution development, SOW finalization, and successful transition to implementation.
You can promote Precision capabilities and solutions through lead generation activities (e.g., conferences, trade shows, webinars, etc.)
About The Role:
Engage life science clients – either individually or in group presentations – to create and cultivate new relationships that lead to additional revenue opportunities
Promote Precision capabilities and solutions through involvement in lead generation activities (e.g., conferences, trade shows, webinars, etc.)
Actively manage the client sales cycle including prospecting, stakeholder meetings, proposal development, proposal delivery, pipeline management, and transition to implementation
Negotiate client deliverables and development/maintenance value-based pricing
Maintain and update client records in Salesforce
Collaborate with Precision service lines to coordinate and advance cross-selling opportunities within targeted accounts
Coordinate with Precision Marketing and Sales Operations to inform strategic marketing and lead generation activities
Contribute to pricing and competitive positioning for Precision solutions
Spearhead competitive assessment by tracking competitors and their initiatives and analyzing competitive threats from within and outside the market
Required Experience:
University degree in business and/or marketing, or similar
15+ years of experience selling to life sciences/pharmaceutical clients; selling commercialization services and products to support drug launches
Past experience carrying a quota with successful attainment of objectives
Skilled in generating and managing leads
Successful track record in driving revenue growth, achieving business results
Expertise in consultative, insight-focused account-based selling approach
Comprehensive understanding of life science and pharmaceutical engagement strategies and tactics
Helpful Experience:
MBA/MS in business and/or marketing, or similar
