Job Overview:
We're on the lookout for a driven and experienced Vice President of Sales to spearhead the growth of our federal and commercial sectors. In this pivotal role, you will direct our sales initiatives, collaborating closely with the Chief Strategy Officer and leading a dedicated team of Federal Sales Directors and Account Executives. Your mission will encompass enhancing our top-line revenue, accelerating the expansion of our advisory services in the federal domain, and playing an instrumental role in shaping our growth strategy. You will not only drive revenue increases but also craft the sales playbooks and processes essential for our scalable expansion.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategic Planning: Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate a multi-year growth blueprint for our services across both federal and commercial markets.
Revenue Growth: Take charge of all sales and business development activities to boost top-line revenue.
Relationship Building: Utilize existing connections and forge new ones to generate leads and support the sales team's efforts.
Sales Infrastructure: Create sales playbooks, processes, and metrics to establish a scalable go-to-market (GTM) foundation.
Team Development: Lead, nurture, and mentor the Sales team to achieve peak performance.
Strategic Pursuits: Play a significant role in proposal development and strategic initiatives.
Resource Planning: Strategize on resource allocation and hiring to optimize team efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaboration and Improvement: Promote a culture of teamwork, customer-centricity, and ongoing enhancement.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 10 years in a sales leadership role, preferably within the federal market.
Track Record: Demonstrated success in selling services to the federal government and crafting a GTM strategy for federal services.
Leadership: Proven ability to build, inspire, and manage high-performing teams in a dynamic setting.
Strategic Skills: Strong capabilities in strategic planning and execution.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Adaptability: High resilience, efficiency, and flexibility in a self-directed environment.
