Role Overview
In the role of Vice President of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in offering cutting-edge solutions and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services that span the entire customer lifecycle for leading technology and digital-first companies. Your expertise in leveraging Cloud-based solutions, such as Software as a Service (SaaS), and automating existing technologies, combined with a partnership approach towards operational excellence and customer-centric support, will guide both new and existing clients towards establishing a transformative digital-first operating model. This model will redefine performance standards and drive superior outcomes.
As a senior figure within our Communications, Media & Technology division, your mission will be to scout, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities that resonate with our strategic ambitions for growth. Your efforts will not only contribute to our global standing but also to the expansion of our client base, revenue, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Crafting and executing a dynamic sales strategy that boosts revenue and meets or exceeds set targets.
Utilizing your network to source deals directly and overseeing the sales process from initiation to closure.
Developing comprehensive business plans that cover prospecting, responding to inbound leads, crafting solutions, pricing strategies, negotiations, contract finalizations, and fostering customer relationships.
Communicating our value proposition effectively, both verbally and in written presentations, to captivate and engage potential clients.
Collaborating closely with Account Management and Delivery teams to promote a culture that is client-focused and supports a cohesive team environment.
Ensuring the delivery of promised business outcomes to clients while safeguarding the interests of the executive team and stakeholders.
Influencing the company's strategic direction as an integral member of the senior management team.
Ideal Candidate Profile
A robust understanding of and passion for the technology ecosystem, with exceptional storytelling skills.
Experience in developing and presenting proposals, responding to RFPs, and documentation of sales activities.
Proven ability to engage and influence senior leadership, with strong analytical and presentation skills tailored for C-suite executives.
Extensive professional network and adeptness in building relationships with key decision-makers.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to inspire cross-functional teams to exceed expectations.
Strategic vision, with a knack for identifying and developing key business opportunities.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, complemented by superior presentation abilities.
Self-driven with the autonomy to operate effectively without constant oversight.
An entrepreneurial spirit and sharp business insight.
Qualifications
Over 10 years of experience in sales, with a track record of acquiring new services through a consultative process and exceeding aggressive targets.
Background in Business Process Management, with success in both initiating new client relationships and nurturing existing ones.
Proven experience in driving revenue growth in technology-focused verticals on a global scale.
Deep knowledge of AI/ML, Customer Experience, Content Moderation, Trust and Safety, and/or Advertising Operations.
Executive-level presence with experience engaging C-suite executives.
Insightful knowledge of the industry, market trends, and a passion for BPO/BPM, AI, CX, or Trust and Safety.
Experience in Digital Transformation Consulting, ideally with firms like Accenture, Deloitte, EY.
Consistent record of surpassing revenue and booking quotas.
Excellent client engagement, proposal creation, and deal structuring skills.
Willingness to travel up to 60% as required.
Key Performance Indicators
Deal closure rate / Total contract value / Quality of client relationships established.
Education & Compensation
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
A competitive base salary ranging from $200,000 to $240,000, plus a variable incentive plan. Final compensation will be determined by location, experience, and internal policies.
