LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a highly motivated VP of Accounting to join a global organization. This search is exclusive to LHH and a full-time direct hire position. This opportunity will require once a month travel to the Southeast US, but this role will otherwise be remote.
The VP of Accounting will report to a global leader and this role will be responsible for change management and providing strong leadership for shared services and treasury teams. The position requires the applicant to have Big 4 Public Accounting experience, CPA designation and exceptional communication skills.
Responsibilities: month-end financial statement preparation processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency with company policies the operations of the accounting and operational treasury teams (shared services) strategies for effecting and controlling change within the organization strategies for effecting and controlling change within the organization strong and collaborative leadership to direct (4) and indirect reports (50) financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures with external and internal auditors in annual budget and forecast with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. required for a few days each month Qualifications: degree with a focus in accounting for finance years of progressive experience in accounting years of leadership experience working for the Big 4 Public Accounting firm(s) required supervising staff offshore designation required Services background preferred leadership skills and strong analytical skills communication and interpersonal skills to function well in accounting gray areas to quickly adapt to changes Base salary starting at: $275,000 + STI target of 40%
