Growth Ventures is an exciting startup incubator within BNY.This role is located in Lake Mary Florida.This will be a hybrid position, three days per week in the office.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Design and implement scalable client-side and server-side architectureParticipate pair-programming, and provide technical leadership to motivate and guide team membersLead technical discussions and provide technical oversight (including code reviews) to the development work from the teamFoster a culture of learning, innovating, and continuous improvementPromote best engineering practices to deliver software via rapid iterations and frequent releasesWork with product managers and UX designers to provide feedback to product roadmap, requirements, and UX designsActively participate in daily stand-up meetings and other Agile ceremoniesCollaborate with other engineering teams to ensure timely delivery across all the systems at the program levelCoach and mentor junior engineersTo be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline preferredA minimum of 8 years of full stack technical experience building enterprise SaaS solutions3+ years of Python/Java/Spring Boot development experience, including microservices and event-driven architecture implementation3+ years of hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks2+ years of test automation development using Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, or similar. Experience with Test-Driven-Development is preferred.?1+ years of experience in modelling with NoSQL databaseExperience in Agile methodologies, either Sprint or KanbanHands-on experience with release management and CICD deployment workflow processes, from development release through production deploymentFamiliarity with cloud-based technologies – K8S, Azure/AWS, etc.Strong technical and communication skills requiredKnowledge and experience in financial services or fintech is preferredAt BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
