We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Vice President of Instruction to join our team. This pivotal role involves collaborating closely with the college's President and leadership team to develop, expand, and evaluate our instructional programs and services across our service region. You'll play a crucial role in supervising the operations of our four external service locations, overseeing Instructional Technology, our Library and Academic Resource Center, as well as various academic departments.
Your expertise will guide strategic planning efforts, support retention and completion initiatives, and ensure our educational offerings reflect our institution's philosophy and goals. You'll also spearhead our accreditation activities, coordinate student learning assessments, and develop collaborative initiatives with four-year institutions and other agencies.

Qualifications:
A Doctorate degree or a Master's degree with a commitment to obtaining a terminal degree.
At least five years of experience in higher education leadership or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability and an understanding of shared governance.
Commitment to student success and the community college mission.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Experience with federal and state compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and evaluate all academic programs and personnel, ensuring the highest standards of instruction and curriculum quality.
Collaborate with academic deans and site directors on class schedules, instructional resources, and program evaluations.
Participate in accreditation activities and budget planning for all areas of supervision.
Recommend hiring for certified personnel and oversee the evaluation system for academic programs.
Engage in strategic planning and policy development to support institutional goals.
Serve in leadership roles on various college committees and professional organizations.
