We are hiring a VFX ArtistExperienced visual effects artist neededCreate particle systems and effects for our games
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Build detailed content in multiple different styles• Communicate and collaborate with designers and artists• Give and take critique from multiple departments• Adapt to new tools and pipeline processes• Ensure accurate time estimates• Create beautiful and efficient real-time VFX
Requirements
• 3+ years of video game or similar industry experience• At least 1 shipped title as a VFX artist• Proficiency in Niagara & Houdini• Experience with Unreal Engine and Blueprints• Ability to create 3D assets and textures• Skills in Substance and Photoshop• Attention to detail, silhouettes, and composition• Understanding of game engine budgets and performance• Effective communication and organizational skills• Basic principles knowledge (timing, scale, motion, color)• Comfortable with material instances and material library• Gameplay-oriented mindset
