Responsibilities
• Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients• Collection and analysis of lab samples• Diagnostic imaging• Management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases• Administration of medications• Effective communication of treatment plans with clients• Surgical preparation and assistance• Anesthetic management• Withstand unpleasant odors and noises• Exposure to bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases
Requirements
• High work ethic and positive attitude• Arrive on-time and ready to work• Minimum 1-year experience preferred, CVT/RVT/LVT a bonus• Weekend availability• Exceptional customer service skills• Ability to interpret medical records accurately• Knowledge in preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow• Proficient in sample collection and laboratory processing• Proficient in radiograph positioning and anesthesia• Desire to continue advancing knowledge and skillset
