This position is located in Cedar Park, Texas. 4 Day Work week 7:45 AM-6:30 PM At Thrive Pet Healthcare, we believe helping animals is our passion and why we are in this profession. Our staff believes in a positive culture and low drama atmosphere.

At Thrive Pet Healthcare, the veterinary technician provides an exceptional patient care and customer experience, from the moment the client checks-in, to when they transition the patient to the veterinarian, through the complete and accurate discharge of the patient from the hospital. The veterinary technician will complete that experience when the client is leaving with client education, a "Thank You," and a warm smile.
We are looking for veterinary technicians and assistants with the following traits:
2 or more years of direct patient care experience, CVT/LVT/RVT preferredCompetency in collecting a patient's history and vitalsSuperb client education skills on preventive careSolid venipuncture, IV-catheter, and injection administration skillsAbility to set up, position, and take digital radiographsComfortable collecting, setting up, and interpreting of in-house laboratory and cytology testsCompetency in anesthetic monitoring and assisting in surgical proceduresCompetency in performing dental prophylaxisTeam player and willingness to cross train in all areas of a general practiceSelf-driven accountability for learningPositive attitude and drama freeConflict resolution skillsSelf-starterHere are some great reasons you'll enjoy coming to work every day at Thrive Pet Healthcare
