TriagingRecord and deliver organized rounds, discuss cases and gather additional information as necessaryEvaluating incoming patients and prioritizing based on assessmentPartner with patient care team regarding treatment plans, client communication and nursing care concernsProvide client education including, but not limited to: home care instructions, medications (indications, adverse reactions) and general wellness updates on hospitalized patientsAssist DVM with patient assessment, treatment and proceduresProvide monitoring and nursing care to hospitalized patientsInduce and monitor general anesthesia and sedation proceduresPerforming laboratory work and diagnostic imagingMonitoring hospitalized patients, treatments and nursing careVenipuncture/IVC placement, cystocentesis, urinary catheter placement and NG tube placement.Blood transfusion therapy including collection, administration, and transfusion reactions
