Veterinary Receptionist/Customer Service Representative

Job Details: Full-time/Part-time Veterinary Receptionist/Customer Service Rep (Redmond WA). Salary based on experience. Primary Responsibilities: Receive telephone and personal callers. Provide knowledgeable sub-professional advice concerning the care and treatment of animals. Determine whether vaccinations /tests are current. Recommend update of necessary immunizations/tests to clients. Schedule appointments, check-in and check out pets(dogs and cats), Collect client fees. Check email communications throughout the day and respond. Communication with team members and doctors about client/pet health concerns. Follow up with clients with appointment reminder phone calls and check in with clients about previous day appointments. Ability to lift pets up to 40 lbs. Daily Cleaning and Sanitation of Clinic Lobby to be done daily. This includes but is not limited to; sweeping; mopping; trash/recycle disposal; disinfecting lobby benches and scale; vacuuming; dusting. Requirements :
People with prior experience in customer service/veterinary reception are preferred. But people with the ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and commitment to outstanding client service, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
