Town and Country Animal Hospital is seeking a veterinarian to join our growing, progressive 2 doctor practice in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Our experienced staff is compassionate and dedicated to client education and their pet's quality of life. We are a small animal practice primarily; however, we do support a minor exotic/avian caseload as well. We have a diverse surgical caseload ranging from spay/neuter to orthopedics, and you would be able to perform whatever procedures with which you are comfortable. We are well-equipped with a full lab, digital radiography, endoscopy, and are proud to be a Certified Cat Friendly Practice.
Our ideal veterinarian is a team player that is looking for a quick-paced environment while providing top-tier recommendations with interests in surgery, dentistry, and client communication. We encourage doctors of all experience levels to apply and will happily provide a customized mentorship program for new and recent graduates.
Full and part-time positions available. About the area : Hattiesburg is known as "Hubb City" because it has a centrally located depot that connects intersecting train tracks. While still an operational transportation modality in our city, the nickname still applies as the cities of Jackson, MS; New Orleans; Birmingham; and Mobile are all within 2 hours of our city. Hattiesburg though is known for its small-town atmosphere with big city amenities such as over 200 restaurants, a zoo, a water park, several museums, and recreational activities. HubbFest is an annual festival that highlights the cultural diversity of the town. Every summer, an event called Festival South occurs over the entire month of June involving theatrical and musical performances, "Best of the Pine Belt" awards, and weekly highlights of the city itself.
