Job Description: As a fitter welder you will be working under supervision to ensure smooth workflow. Youll be involved in various tasks from preparing parts and tools for fitup and welding activities to adhering to departmental procedures and ASME code requirements. With your thorough understanding of vesselrelated jobs and ASME codes you may also engage in welding processes like FCAW GMAW and GTAW as directed by our departmental foreman. Proficiency in blueprint reading is a must as is your participation in Operational Excellence teams to drive quality and continuous improvement initiatives within your job scope. Your role will also entail taking responsibility for all actions as required by our departmental foreman. To thrive in this position you should have a strong inclination towards mathematics and at least five years of manufacturing experience in vesselrelated functions. Certification according to ASME code in welding processes such as FCAW and GMAW is essential.
