DESCRIPTION Amazon's Geospatial team is looking for a Vendor Manager, a pivotal role where our vision is to provide the best mapping solution for logistics with focus on a safe, efficient and frictionless delivery experience. We work with a portfolio of map vendors to enrich our maps with attributes important to transporters.
As a vendor manager, you will be a passionate advocate for our transporters, possess strong negotiation and analytical skills, together with proven commercial knowledge and experience. The ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task is a must, together with excellent project management skills and laser sharp attention to detail. The Vendor Manager must also be an effective communicator, working with some of Amazon Australia's most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal colleagues and cross-functional leaders. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for logistics and a high level of flexibility and commitment. We are seeking a tenured Vendor Manager with growth potential.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bellevue, WA, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
