Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced VDI Engineer to support an IC customer/contract in the St. Louis, MO area. This position will support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment. This role will be the SME in troubleshooting all related performance issue across the organization. Security requirements are a TS/SCI clearance and eligibility to obtain a CI polygraph.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators in order to resolve VDI issues. Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability and act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies. Offers endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop related tasks. Maintains an Advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies. Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders. Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.
