This position is based in our Appleton, WI location. The company was formally known as Water-Right and is a water softener and water treatment product assembling operation. Our brand names include Water-Right, A.O. Smith Specialized, and Evolve.
Primary Function Coordinate activities in the Control Valve Assembly Line(s) by providing direction to staff to ensure compliance with production goals, quality, continuous improvement, and safety processes as well as the reducing of downtime and waste.
Responsibilities Accountable for meeting production and quality goals while driving reduce costs. Help team members to understand and meet the company objectives (Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost and Morale). Maintain a positive relationship between workers and company. Work closely with Team Leader to help maximize efficiency. Help to Determine root cause of problems and suggest corrective actions to keep from repeating mistakes. Creates a work environment which engages its members to achieve compliance with the objectives of manufacturing. Use the most appropriate quality tools for problem solving. Always seek continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. Promotes continuous improvement ideas from staff. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Role Specific Responsibilities Ability to communicate well both oral and written The ability to lead a group Skilled in relationship building Familiar with General Computer Skills with the ability to enter data and extract data from Data Base. Familiar with e-mail and related protocol Familiar with time keeping system or tracking work hours Qualifications Manufacturing industry experience required Prior supervisory/leadership experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50lbs Education High School Diploma or GED
Years of Experience Minimum of 5 years related work experience
