Successful candidate will ensure that the fleet is fully prepared for service.
Job Responsibilities: Interiors and exterior of all company vehicles are cleaned according to contract and local requirements. Provide fresh mop buckets for operators to clean their bus and be attentive/aware when buckets need replacing. Performs facility house keeping including but not limited to items such as, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms including toilets, ensuring facilities overall appearance. Performs landscaping duties as neccesary including but not limited to mowing lawn, trimming weeds, ect. All fleet damage documented and communicated to Maintenance Manager in the case of unreported damage. Assit in supervised light maintenance of vehicles if necessary. Assit mechanics in road calls. When assigned, use of plow to clear parking lot of snow in winter months. Provide end of shift report to management of all duties completed including a comprehensive lift of items detailed on vehicles. Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manger, General Manager, Operations Manager and Supervisors. Talent Requirements: Must be a safety oriented individual who can, Think, Plan, Act. High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to be available to shift adjustments to the needs of the business, including holidays & weekends if necesary. Must be able to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, and up to 120 pounds assisted. Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to maintain a time management style daily routine to ensure all needs are met. Must be able to work a varied schedule, including weekends. Must be 21 with good driving record. Must have (within six months) a valid Department of Transportation Medical Certificate (DOT Physical) or ability to obtain one. Must pass pre-employment drug screen. Must be able to perform job in summer heat and winter cold. Must have or be able to obtain a valid Utah Class C Commerical Drivers License with Passenger Endorsement Must be receptive to positive on-going training/coaching to improve safety perfromance. Must possess strong perosnal intergrity and accountability to work with minimal supervision. Must be of strong moral character, people oriented, attentive, maintain a bright positive demeanor to meet our mission in providing the best customer experience.
