Responsibilities
• Adhering to hotel specifications and standards in operating the dishwashing machine• Washing designated restaurant and kitchen wares• Cleaning and maintaining dishwashing/kitchen/compactor and storage areas• Assisting in washing pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils/equipment• Completing other assigned projects
Requirements
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) or Work Equivalent• 1-2 years of experience in food and beverage preferred• Good understanding of the English language• Good communication skills both written and verbal• Ability to carry a large oval tray with 6 covered dinners (approximately 20 pounds)• Ability to push/pull carts and other equipment up to 100 pounds• Ability to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas• Satisfactory communication with guests, management, and co-workers• Willingness and ability to work under variable temperature conditions and noise levels• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours• Ability to work a varied schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
