The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing and deploying automated solutions to complex business processeswithin constraints such as development cost, product accuracy and time.Roles and Responsabilities Maintain automation host PCs and monitor the successful execution of automation productsDevelop and configure programs, scripts and objects that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understandWork collaboratively with operational and technical teams to deliver projects by agreed upon deadlinesAbility to understand a business process and to conceptualize it as an automated solutionAbility to analyze business processes and recommend improvements and develop automated solutions around themCreate and maintain solution documentationMinimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of experience.with any of Power BI, Power Automate, Python or R scripting.Knowledge of RStudio or similar IDEA track record in the successful delivery and support of Excel macros, Visual Basic scripts or other configuration/scripting type technologyAn aptitude for problem solvingKnowledge of SAP a plusKnowledge of relational databases a plus (MySQL and MSSQL)Pay Transparency RequirementsThe compensation and reference to benefits for this role is listed on this posting in compliance with applicable law.  The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs.  Please note that the compensation and benefits listed below are only applicable to successful candidates who are hired onto local United States payroll.At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range.  The anticipated salary range for this position is $80k - $115kSLB offers competitive compensation and benefits programs which include variable pay, health care coverage, retirement plan, protection coverage, time off and leave programs, and training and development opportunities.
