The ideal candidate understands the overlap of these four design areas well and embraces a user-centered design process. They recognize strong UX, and value collaboration and problem solving. This individual will be at the forefront of new digital trends and UX best practices to help optimize the client experience, increase product adoption, and scale growth.ResponsibilitiesDesign new product features and enhancements for iCapital’s flagship platform and white label solutions.See the platform in its entirety to create logical information architecture decisions.Create wireframes and prototypes using the LeanUX methodology to solve business needs and problems.Produce final designs using the iCapital design system.Suggest improvements to the platform proactively, not only in reaction to requests.Rely on qualitative and quantitative data to drive design decisions.Work closely and autonomously with Developers and Product Managers to test and review online product enhancements to ensure flawless execution.Contribute to maintenance of the iCapital design system and Figma wireframe component library.Manage multiple concurrent requests and requirements.Step outside the design realm when appropriate to contribute to the team and overall company mission.Plan, coordinate, and moderate user research activities throughout all phases of design.Lead, coach, and mentor other designers on the team.Present work to all levels of the company with confidence.QualificationsBachelor's Degree (BA or BFA) with 10+ years of demonstrated experience solving design challenges using user-centered design best practicesExperience leading teams, including performance management, hiring, coaching, and mentoringExpert UX skills, including user research and information architecture, and workflow designSolid understanding of major design applications, specifically FigmaHistory of teamwork and a willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job doneStrong interpersonal and presentation skills; proven ability to influence and communicate effectivelyExperience in?FinTech and familiarity with product internationalization and WCAG accessibility guidelines are preferredExperience working with FullStory, Dovetail, Maze is a plusWork samples will berequiredduring the interview process.?BenefitsThe base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $180,000.? iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
