Quala is seeking an associate level User Experience Designer for a remote contract opportunity. You will be working within a Redmond, WA based company that is a leader in the software and consumer electronics industry. About the role:

The role will consist of 30% design heads down work, 30% meetings, and 30% collaborating with team members. Job Responsibilities:
Engages with the business development team and/or customer early on to seek a deeper appreciation of the customers business problem/goals.
Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met
Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan computer specifications and layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications
Candidate Requirements
2-4 overall years of experience
Bachelors degree in industrial design or interactional design/UX design is preferred
Experience with ProtoPie, Adobe products, Figma, and UX design.
Minimum 2+ years of experience of working with multidisciplinary and cross product teams, delivering beautiful end-to-end user experiences across multiple screens
Minimum 2+ years Experience using design tools (Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, After effects as examples)
Minimum 2+ years Ability to lead products from scratch and improve features within a user-centered design process
