Used Vehicle Reconditioning Service Technician

Used Car Reconditioning TechnicianFresh Start Auto Sales, part of the Chariot Automotive Group, is looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to maintain and repair vehicles. You will be responsible for providing timely inspections and repairs while ensuring quality standards and safety requirements are met. We are looking for a technician who is passionate about vehicles and has a genuine desire to help customers.Responsibilities:Inspect and Service vehicle inventory for our Used Car Department.Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.Tests Components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.Diagnoses, maintains and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning.Communicates directly with the Service Manager so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.Requirements:A valid driver's license with no major violations or suspensions in the last 5 yearsMinimum 2 years experience as a TechnicianGood knowledge of all aspects of automotive repair and maintenanceAbility to read and comprehend written instructions and informationA great attitude and a customer service-oriented mindsetWillingness to learn new technologies and grow as a TechnicianTeam oriented and communicate properly with Advisors and Parts CountermenWhat we Offer:401(k) program with company matchHealth, dental, vision and other optional insurancesPaid Time Off and Paid Holiday's after 90 daysEmployee discountsCompany paid long term disability and life insuranceApply today to become a part of the Chariot Automotive Team!We are an equal opportunity employer
