The intern will function to complete engineering deliverables as defined by the functional manager.The main missions of the roleare:Support execution of engineeringchangesLearns how to produce/develop processes for productionenvironment'sAssists with alternativesolutionsMaintain strong familiarity with customer CAD/BOM & theintegrityCompletes all assignments with the prescribedschedulesSearch and propose improvements to optimize ourprocess/flowsAssist Faurecia Excellence Team on layout changes and lean manufacturing toolsdeploymentHelp production Team Leaders and Supervisors to identify and solve their productionissuesQualifications:The ideal candidate willhave/be:Minimum education level:Working towards a degree in Business, Engineering or relatedfield at the University of CincinnatiExperience:Sophomore, Junior, SeniorstatusSkills andcompetencies:Production/process/lean manufacturing experience would be aplusExperience on 2D/3D design, at least 2D (AutoCAD,CAD)Continuous improvementmindsetProblem diagnosis and analyticskillsResults oriented with strong written and oral communicationskillsAbility to work in a matrixedorganizationSelf-sufficientSelf-starterStrong interpersonal and teamskillsStrong organizationskillsGood Microsoft Office and ExcelskillsStrong analyticalskillsProficient level ofEnglish
