Responsible for all administrative and operational functions of the facility's assigned units. Provides oversight of security and sanitation and serves as the liaison between facility management, food service and medical services.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent and (5) years of experience working in a correctional, detention work experience. A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field may be substituted for up to (3) years of experience based on management's discretion. Experience: (5) years of experience working in a correctional, detention work experience. Licenses/Certifications: None required. Coordinates and oversees all patient moves. Serves as a core member of the Treatment Team and assures that all incidents involving patient behaviors are properly documented and reported in accordance with facility policy. Responsible for ensuring team members complete safety/sanitation inspections of all patient rooms and address concerns according to policy. Monitor the PAMM system to ensure proper patient monitoring is being conducted, including implementing any measures where appropriate to achieve compliance. Respond to patient concerns, provide information and communication where appropriate. Prepares reports on program operations and maintains all logs and other reports called for in institutional operational procedures. Evaluates job performance and provides direct supervision for MHT and CNA positions assigned to the unit and also responsible for ensuring training needs and scheduling are completed.
