Trimble Maps is looking for a UI/UX designer with great visual design chops and an eye for detail. You will work on a number of applications and design challenges from web to mobile to design systems, working with stakeholders and development teams across the globe. This is a position for a UI/UX designer who is looking to learn about the challenges of a complex, user-driven, enterprise landscape while implementing and contributing to the Trimble Modus Design System.What you will be asked to do:Work with Product Managers, customers, developers, and other stakeholders to design features and applicationsDetail design in FigmaTake existing Adobe XD designs and re-create in FigmaUse Miro, Jira and GSuite to deliver design specificationsCreate wireframes & interactive prototypes to test conceptsWrite UI spec documentationAnswer development and QA emails and call for design clarificationParticipate in team meetings and learn about other projectsWork closely with the Design Systems Product Manager and the delivery team to manage existing and add new components and patterns to ModusWhat we expect from you:A degree in graphic or visual design, UX design, interaction design or a graduate of a UX bootcamp with a visual design backgroundExperience with UX in Agile environmentExperience with user research, empathy for the user, and passion for great user experienceAttention and love for beautiful detailAn eagerness to learn about all things UX/UICapacity to learn by doing, and willingness to accept directionWillingness to contribute your own creativity and originalityFluency with common design products such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative SuiteLight HTML/CSS skillsTrimble's Inclusiveness CommitmentWe believe in celebrating our differences.
